The lab of Prof. Jürgen Ruland studies mechanisms of innate and adaptive immune signaling pathways and their alterations in malignant disorders. We established a series of novel model systems to dissect the molecular basis of immune regulation in malignant lymphomas and to develop novel therapeutic strategies that target the immune system in cancer. Our international research group is broadly embedded in the Munich biomedical research community, supported by several Collaborative Research Centres funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, an ERC Advanced Grant, and the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize from the DFG.
