Founded in 1921, OLDENDORFF CARRIERS combines its history as a German shipowner with the network of one of the world's leading drybulk operators. We currently control some 700 chartered and owned vessels of 40 mio tdw, and we carry around 380 mio tons of raw materials and semi-finished products across the seven seas each year. Our customers can expect 100% performance. All the way.

The Port Disbursement Accounts (DA Desk) is responsible for all port costs-related matters, for example costs for pilots, tugs, dockage, surveys etc. All received final DAs or single invoices will be checked and approved by the Port DA Specialist. As the link between the Commercial and Finance Department, Port DA is the point of contact and will assist in handling settlements with the agents and other service providers.

Each Marine Accounting Manager belongs to a sub-team, which is covering a specific area of the world to build up a deep understanding of port expenses.

However, the Port DA team is working on common department goals and supporting each other based on strong sense of team belonging and trust.
